Why being listed in MLS is so important?

MLS stands for "Multiple Listing Service", and is "the real estate market".

Approximately 90% of all properties sold in the US are as a result of MLS listing exposure.

Being listed in MLS means all the local Realtors can find your home in their MLS database.

Buyers can find your home on thousands of public MLS websites, where they are most likely to be searching for a home.

MLS listed properties (for sale by owner or not) sell faster and for more money than non-MLS listed "for sale by owner" properties.

  How does it work?

Real estate commissions normally cost 6%. Half goes to the agent that list the home, and half goes to the agent that brings the buyer. With MasterCraft you pay a one-time low listing fee to list your property, and if an agent brings you a buyer, pay that agent a commission, which is normally 3% for homes. You can also opt to pay the buyer’s agent a commission of 4% as an incentive to show your property before others and still save thousands! PLUS! If you or Mastercraft finds a buyer for your home you pay 0% commission, saving you $1000's more.

If you list with a typical 6% Realtor, and the property sells, you pay the whole 6%, even if the buyer is your neighbor and the Realtor didn't do anything other than put his sign in the yard and enter the listing in MLS.

No matter how much another real estate company charges you, your listing will be placed in the same MLS, PLUS your listing will appear on literally hundreds of other websites that display MLS listings, including national sites such as realtor.com, msn.com, remax.com, kw.com, prudential.com, realestate.com, excite.com and more

Why a Flat Fee MLS Listing better

...than listing with a 6% realtor

  • You get the same MLS listing in the same local MLS for a one-time low Flat Fee instead of 6%.
  • If you sell your home without a buyer's agent involved, there is zero commission.
  • More exposure on hundreds of national MLS websites. Many 6% Realtors limit the exposure to public websites to increase their chances of getting the entire 6% commission.
  • The bottom line is you can be a For Sale By Owner and still be listed on the MLS with an agent at the same time. So you will have the best of both worlds

Get maximum exposure for your property

..with a Multiple Listing Service (MLS) ad from MasterCraft

MasterCraft Properties is a licensed real estate brokerage in the state of North Carolina. When your property is placed on the Multiple Listing Service, all real estate agents that subscribe to the service in the area, which are the vast majority, will have instant access to the property information. What many people don't know is that they can have the benefits of the MLS without paying a high commission.

As buyers discuss their needs with a real estate agent, the agent simply goes to his or her computer and searches the MLS for properties that match the buyer's criteria. If your property is on the MLS, the agent will easily locate it.

We have developed a Flat Fee MLS listing program, to assist home sellers with money saving options that most never knew existed.
